HAPPY 2019!!!! Fun fact: Last year one of my goals for the New Year was to start a weekly Newsletter. I am happy to say that a year later, I have followed my resolution through and through by sending out a newsletter every single week in 2018 : D
It’s funny because when I first set this goal for myself, one of my initial thoughts was ‘how the heck am I going to find things to write about each week?’ (already letting fear/uncertainty/doubt question my goal). Instead of letting those thoughts get in the way, I reminded myself that I am more than capable of coming up with topics each week and I just need to take it as it comes. So that’s what I did, I trusted myself, I took it week by week and here we are 52 weeks and 52 Newsletters later : ) That being said, here are my most important tips for reaching your goals in 2019:
1.Believe that you can. This is nonnegotiable. You need to believe in yourself %100 if you ever want to achieve anything.
2. Don’t let fear talk you out of it. Action cures fear. So start taking action and your fear will slowly disappear.
3.Take it day by day, week by week, however you need to cut it. Don’t look ALL the work you have ahead of you, just focus on the work that’s right in front of you.
4.Every second is a new opportunity to keep chasing that goal. Even if you make a mistake, encounter a setback, face an obstacle, you’re always one decision away from being back in the game.
